Ghost chili

 Feast your eyes upon the worlds hottest chili the Ghost chili also known as Bhut Jolokia , word is that just a single drop from any hot sauce is enough to make it almost inedible. causing your eyes to water, nose to run, and your mouth to burn hotter than the suns surface. this pepper has stormed itself into the Guiness world record books with an SHU of 1,001,304 SHU twice that of the previous record holder, the Red Savina.

 A SHU stands for Scoville Heat Unit and is the amount of water needed before the chili heat is undetectable. One drop of the Bhut Jolokia extract needs a million drops of water.

    My parents grow those. One time I licked a fork that I dabbed in an open one. It was really freaking hot. If I ate one I'd most likely wouldn't taste anything for at least a week and my ass would burn when it comes out. So I'll pass.

    There is a small restaurant where I live that imports those, however they wont let you get them fresh. There is a running contest of who can eat the most and a good friend of mine ate 9 or some such thing, (dried out of course). Needless to say he couldnt function for the next 24 hours. No sleep either....I wouldnt do it haha :)
